Option to Show Minimap in Only One Pane When Using Split View

Hi Azure Data Studio team,

I’d like to request a feature enhancement related to the minimap behavior in split view.

Currently, when I split the editor screen, the minimap appears on both sides. I find this visually distracting and would prefer to see the minimap only on the right-hand editor pane. It would be very helpful to have a setting that allows users to toggle the minimap on a per-pane basis, or at least to select a default pane for displaying the minimap when using a split view.

Use case:

• I use split view often, and I like having a clean workspace on one side (no minimap), and the navigation/minimap on the other.
• Right now, the only way to hide it from one side affects all panes globally.

This feature would improve usability and customization for developers with specific workflows.
