    • Q: Is Docker platform-dependent? A: Docker is primarily designed for Linux, as it uses various Linux kernel features. However, it can also be used on Windows and Mac systems, where it creates a Linux VM to run the containers.

    • Think of Docker as a special kind of packing tool. When you move houses, you pack things into boxes so they can be transported easily. Docker does this for applications, putting all the parts that your software needs into a 'box' (container) so it can run smoothly on any computer.
