Update DIRECTORY.md to reflect current project state #6300

As far as i know the Directory.md appears to be outdated. Please update this file to the current version. For Example the latest algorithm from #6296 is not contained in this markdown-file. And please report, if you come across any Java classes that are mentioned in the file but don't actually exist.
