The site content is a MERN-based expense tracker web app. It allows users to track income and expenses in real-time with a React frontend and Node.js backend. Hosted on Deno Deploy.

👋 Please could you explain how this is related directly to the JavaScript ecosystem/community? Why is this something a JavaScript developer specifically would use more-so than anyone else?

Hi @MattIPv4, thanks for the review!

SpendWise is a full-stack JavaScript-based project built with:

React.js for the frontend

Node.js (Express) for the backend

MongoDB as the database

Mongoose for ODM

Hosted using Deno Deploy

It's an open-source expense tracker that demonstrates real-world use of the MERN stack, UPI-based sharing, push notifications, and PWA features. It's intended to serve as a learning resource and starter kit for JavaScript developers looking to build full-stack apps.

We're hoping this can be useful to the JS developer community as both a tool and educational resource.

Let us know if you'd like us to add anything else!

Thanks again 🙏

@spendwise-app Expense tracking is not specifically related to JavaScript or web development. While it's true that the website is built using JavaScript libraries—as is the case with most modern websites—that fact on its own is not particularly relevant to our decision. And it’s not immediately evident to me that the page is meant to be used as a learning resource.

But there are a variety of similar services that may fit better.
