As was said before, WhatsApp Web can't add contacts, because only cellphones have contacts.

This feature is not for everyone and can vary by phone model, so adding this feature to the lib can't be possible.

Ok thanks, yes this feature is only available for iOS users, you need to enable permissions on your phone before you can use it
