Running SB with headed xvfb can't pass cf

Hi, I run this:

    with SB(
            uc=True,
            incognito=True,
            locale_code="en",
            headed=True,
            xvfb=True,
            xvfb_metrics="1920,1080",
    ) as sb:
         sb.activate_cdp_mode(self.config.start_url)
         sb.cdp.maximize()
         sb.sleep(5)
         sb.cdp.gui_click_element("#turnstile-widget div")

Works fine on ubuntu 24 laptop with 13" display and "1920,1080" resolution but when I run this on VPS it's not passing cf turnstile (probably because cf isn't visible on screen, it's hidden, I'd need to scroll to it). It's strange because I have:

xvfb_metrics="1920,1080",

I want to have same process on VPS as I have on my ubuntu laptop without xvfb for easydebugging. How can I change xvfb configs to display browser on screen same as from my laptop?

Most "VPS" leave a detectable fingerprint.
Non-residential IP addresses mark your automation as bot-traffic.

You probably want a regular Linux machine/server for your automation.

thanks, but I think problem is because of turnstile not being visible on screen. Looks like there's regression of #3176

When I run with xvfb on my laptop I'm not passing turnstile.

Looks like xvfb_metrics="1920,1080" doesn't affect screen size, I'm getting screen size 1366x768 not matter what value is passed in sbase = 4.38.0

Window size is different from Xvfb display size.

I'm feeling like we are talking about two things. Maybe my comments are a bit chaotic.

As I understand using xvfb_metrics="1920,1080" should set display size to 1920x1080, but no matter what values I pass here, display size of xvfb is always 1366x768. Because of this turnstile in my page is out of window viewport and turnstile isn't passed.

Could you please run your test with xvfb_metrics="1920,1080" and print screen size with pyautogui.size()?

You may have to set it like this: https://askubuntu.com/a/1075168.
(Or stick to the default resolution 1366x768.)
Also, make sure you're using Ubuntu if you're using Linux.

This will click randomly on page which should create dots, works fine on windows/ubuntu but when I run on github actions (workflow copied from your https://github.com/mdmintz/undetected-testing/actions/runs/14947103413/job/41991848898) then no clicks appear on page

You can monitor test execution there, dots should be visible, you can clear this page after test.

I wonder what's wrong there. I was able to setup seleniumbase test to do clicks on ubuntu vps/server running on xvfb but I can't reproduce it anymore

Are you sure it was clicked and not just auto checked? Will test it tomorrow

Maximizing the window changes coordinates. If that affects it, then don’t maximize the window.
