Basic usage analytics for Library Manager

Would it be possible to add very basic usage statistics for libraries available in the manager? This way:

• Developers can see how many people have their library installed at a given time
• Users can sort libraries by popularity
• This gives incentive for lib developers to join the Library Manager to see how they rank up. :)

Obviously the system would only be able to count installs/uninstalls AFTER the feature is added, but it could be cool to see how many of your users hopped onto the new version of a library.
