some functions not working in navigation menu

Description

• following functions in the Navigation bar are not working
• Next Document
• Previous Document
• next document in list
• previous document in list
• show file tree

Steps to Reproduce

1. click on Navigaton
2. click next Document

Expected behavior: [What you expected to happen]
action as described by the option

Actual behavior: [What actually happened]

No change other than the closing of the menu

The document navigation workflow is when you have multiple files in working files. If there is only one, there will be no action taken and it works as expected. See the below video for a reference on how it works. Closing as it is working as expected.

if possible, please consider adding a pop up saying " There is no other file in the working directory "

Dialogues are intrusive to workflows, one way would be to disable those options that are not active in the stage.
Reopening to disable options if the navigation is not doable.
