Describe the bug

When attempting to keep multiple files open at once for me, Phoenix Code freezes and turns unresponsive and into a gray featureless window that can only be closed by Linux System Monitor.

Reproduction

  1. Open multiple files at once in a project.
  2. Type or attempt to save.

Expected behavior

For the program to stay open and functional.

OS, Browser and Phoenix versions

  1. Pop!_OS
  2. Release 4.0 build 4.0.3-20878

logs or debug stack trace if any

Pop!_Shell, I believe. I will post screenshot when I get the error next.

Looks similar to a known issue in some linux distros.

@NonMeme can you try the fix given in #2165
