[Bug] Autocomplete field glitches on navigating up/down

Describe the bug

When navigating the autocomplete field with arrows in both terminal and Ghostty, the glitch s follows appears

Expected behavior

This should not happen obviously

Additional Information

It was hard to show this error w/o recording a video, but as you can see on a screenshot, the lines appear multiple twice and at some point, you don't really know what you're looking at!

What's interesting is... this glitch only appears on the first page! When I scroll down with arrow, and I am still seeing initial page, I am seeing two/three lines selected. But as soon as the items start scrolling (so I go beyond what's initially visible), it is fixed and just the current item is highlighted.

Update: I just tried rolling back to select field, and same thing happens. I guess this might be unrelated to this, but general issue in 1.0.0 branch

Have managed to reproduce this with autocomplete in version 1.0.0-alpha.4. Having more items than there are lines in the terminal seems to cause it to repeat/glitch when navigating up and down.

Reproduction code:

import { autocomplete } from "@clack/prompts";

const items = new Array(50).fill("item");

await autocomplete({
  message: "Select an item",
  options: items.map((i) => ({ value: i })),
});

Pressing down a few times then up a few times results in something like this:

Doesn't seem to be terminal-related - have reproduced this in the VSCode terminal, Ghostty and MacOS Terminal.

I can still reproduce this issue with the same reproduction code above on the newly released 1.0.0-alpha.5 version.

this doesn't sound right, a huge rework of the code happened specifically to fix this exact issue 😅

please provide a minimal reproduction and ill see why you're still getting it

edit: ok i can reproduce it. that is extremely annoying given how much work went into fixing this 😞
