access: please add new email to existing account

I already have Gerrit approvers access and I need help with adding another email to my account.

I am reaching out here because when I try to verify new email, I get this error:

Hello.

If you're still able to login to your Gerrit account 26536, you should be able to add and verify a new email (and then make it your new primary preferred email, if desired). The reason you're getting that error is because the email you'd like to add is already used for Gerrit account 4076938 which was just created on May 16. Perhaps you created it unintentionally when visiting go-review.googlesource.com while logged in with that email.

@ysmolski Can you log in to go-review.googlesource.com with ysmolski@gmail.com again, confirm that you see ID 4076938 under https://go-review.googlesource.com/settings/, and then remove that email from it, freeing it up to be added to Gerrit account 26536? You might need to first add a different email to it, or maybe it's possible for you to delete the unwanted new Gerrit account from May 16. If that works, you should be able to resolve this on your end. Please let me know if that still doesn't work and we'll try to resolve this another way.

Thanks for looking into it. I was able to delete the (accidental) account ysmolski@gmail.com completely. But for some reason, I was not able to add this email to my old account. I have added some other email though. Maybe ysmolski@gmail.com is still being held hostage by accidental account in a thrash-bin somewhere.

@dmitshur All the emails that I have tried to add to my old accounts, are there now :) Somebody worked on that.

Should we update the email on this page: https://cla.developers.google.com/clas
I was able to fix only the github username there.
I have the old email there (cannot change it).

@ysmolski Glad to hear that you were able to update the email in your Gerrit account! It indeed shows up as expected at https://go-review.googlesource.com/dashboard/26536.

About the CLA page, in the top right corner of the screenshot it shows you visited it while logged in with your previous email. Are you able to visit the same page while logged in to the new account, does that make a difference? Also see the second last entry on the "About" page (also linked in that corner) in case it helps.
