Describe the bug
When running a new workflow, you have to manually click refresh and there are not automatic updates.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
When I re-run a workflow, I see the steps progress:
When I run a new workflow, I have to hit refresh to see it:
Expected behavior
Running a new workflow should work similarly to re-running a workflow and update the UI without needing to manually hit the refresh button.

Hey @KetchupOnMyKetchup - do you have any updates whether this will be investigated? I see it was moved to Triage over a year ago, so maybe slipped through the cracks?
I’ve developed (for me a better) a workaround for this issue that might help you as well. This extension displays the latest build status for GitHub Action workflows and GitLab pipelines in the status bar, automatically refreshing for branch or tag builds and when switching files or repositories.
