Allowing users around the world to read the documentation in their native languages — including German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese.

This update improves accessibility and project understanding for non-English speakers around the world.

Cool! Is the readme-i18n site an OSS project? I'm wary of us inadvertently linking to maliciously-translated/modified docs.

No worries — while readme-i18n isn’t open source at the moment, you can see on the homepage that many popular projects are already using its translations.
