👋 Please could you explain how this is related directly to the JavaScript ecosystem/community? Why is this something a JavaScript developer specifically would use more-so than anyone else?
Since there are a couple of personal portfolio pages in the list I think a currently not too JS-y page is not that big of a problem. |
We no longer accept personal portfolios, they are grandfathered from before our new rules on content being directly related to the JS ecosystem. |
I would recommend re-opening your request once you've got that JS widget built, so that it is demonstrably relevant to JS developers specifically. |
I edited the repo to have a JS developer friendly demo and integrable script. |
You seem to have completely changed what your site is in Nagynorbii/napi-kupak@719ba1f... I am not convinced this is a legitimate request at all. @indus recommend to close. |
Yes I did. At first it only displayed the message, now it displays the code as well. |
I am fully aware of your rules, and I agree that it is important that the projects that are approved are really linked to the JS ecosystem. It is a rational and long term sustainable approach that I appreciate. My current project is still in a very rudimentary stage - it's not a complete, finished project, but a foundation that I want to develop step by step. The current demo is just meant to show a minimal working version of the direction I want to go in: towards an embeddable JS widget. js.org is very useful for developers like me. It makes a big contribution to making a project more visible and making a bigger impression - especially in the early stages - a hub where developers' projects come together (similar to npm). The dataset that I want to integrate into this tool has been waiting for a better fate on my computer for years now. This demo (which I may have put together a bit hastily) is an important step for me to make it a full-fledged tool for JS developers in the future. Of course, I completely understand if you don't want to merge the pull request for now and would rather wait until the project takes a more mature, clearly JS-centric form. |
Uh oh!
