App configurations for Edge pushed to Apple devices via Intune device configuration policy are not applying

The application configuration keys set in Intune device configuration policy and pushed to Apple devices are not successfully implemented in Edge even though the device responds back to Intune stating that the policy is successfully applied.

I had already opened a support case with Intune (Case #2503260010001264) but they stated it's not an Intune issue since the policy is successfully being pushed to the devices and the devices are responding back confirming the policy. They stated this is an issue with Edge since the app is not applying the app configurations.
