live version does not work on Chrome

On Chrome regardless of the radio button combination getting the following error when clicking Register:
"Error: NotSupportedError: Resident credentials or empty 'allowCredentials' lists are not supported at this time."

I understand that this is sample code for Edge, but the whole idea of WebAuthn is to be standard across platforms. What's going on?
