Agent mode stuck in 'Working...'

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

• VS Code Version: Version: 1.101.0 (Universal)

• OS Version: MacOS 15.5 (24F74)

Steps to Reproduce:

Hard to reproduce.

• When using agent mode (GitHub Copilot pro), sometimes it just gets stuck at 'Working....' and it does not timeout, can sit there for 10 minutes.
• Have to manually stop it and retry, sometimes it then succeeds, but sometimes gets stuck again.
• I did not observe this before the current VSC version - or could this be caused by too much activity on the AI/server side ?
