Duplicate workspace in new window does not read the old folder as root #251500

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

  • VS Code Version: 1.101.0
  • OS Version: 10

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a new workspace using the duplicate workspace in new window function, it creates a new workspace, but shows the root folder as a subfolder, this makes me seriously bothered and I am completely unable to do any work
