Show minimap only when scrolling

I would like an option for the minimap to autohide, and only show up after I start scrolling. The current auto-hide shows up on mouseover, but for me this is misleading because if I want to click into some code that would appear under the minimap, as soon as I move the mouse to that spot, the minimap shows up. Then my click lands on the minimap and scrolls me to another spot in the code.
So perhaps the autohide setting could be turned into a select menu with the options "none", "mouseover" and "scroll", meaning no autohide, autohide/show-on-mouseover, or autohide/show-on-scroll.
