Serious Lagging and opening issue for VSC on Mar

Steps to Reproduce:

1. I'm noticing a serious lag when opening VSC.
   This is happening when:

• I activate the application
• when I try to open a file
• when enter text in the terminal

I've done a quick video so you can see some or what I am experiencing. Plus I got a system message I've never seen before so will require you assistance in resolving that to.

How did you download or upgrade to the current version of VS Code?

I downloaded it directly from the VSC website. A also updated it using Code>check for updates

Could you try downloading it again, clicking the Mac button with the download icon on https://code.visualstudio.com/Download?

You have to drag the VS Code app from the Downloads folder to the Applications folder before opening it.
