Feature Request: Dedicated Settings Panel for GitHub Copilot in VS Code

As GitHub Copilot becomes increasingly essential in the VS Code development workflow, it would be highly beneficial to introduce a dedicated settings panel for Copilot. This panel could be conveniently placed within the Copilot Chat area, allowing users to easily access and adjust Copilot-specific settings without leaving their current context.

Benefits:

  • Streamlined user experience for configuring Copilot preferences.
  • Quick access to frequently used options .
  • Centralized management of Copilot features, making it easier for both new and advanced users to tailor Copilot to their needs.

Suggestion:

  • Add a "Copilot Settings" tab or button directly in the Copilot Chat sidebar.
  • Ensure settings are clearly organized and easy to understand.
  • Optionally, provide quick links to documentation or support for advanced configuration.

This enhancement would make Copilot even more user-friendly and further integrate it into the daily workflow of VS Code users.
