Does <base> html tag affect router behaviour?

I skimmed thought the docs and the code and found nothing about <base> tag of the html page.
Is it intentional?

@voroninp I guess yes. You can reproduce the same behaviour by basepath property of Router component.

@voroninp This would be a bug for sure.. If you can find a sane fix for this I would be happy to accept a PR!

@blainekasten Why bug? I never checked to be honest, just asked to be sure base path does not interfere with it.
