Unable to collect remote development time

I'm not sure if it was a problem with my machine or what, but while using vscode for remote server development, I had already installed wakatime in the plugin Marketplace and entered the api key.

vscode version: 1.99.2
OS: Windows_NT x64 10.0.26100
Node.js: 20.18.3

The wakatime icon is then displayed at the bottom left and is being initialized, only atime icon remains after completion, no statistical time is displayed, and the development time on the remote server cannot be recorded on the web console.

wakatime is useful when developing locally and works on the jetbrain ide family, but the same applies when developing remotely with jetbrain ide.

Where could this be a problem? thank you

Strangely, opening wakatime's log file in vscode got no reaction, and I couldn't find any log files about wakatime on the remote server. There's just a.cfg file with only the api key in it, and a .wakatime folder with some zip files in it, but they're all 0KB in size and can't be opened. However, these operations can be done normally on the local machine.

I made sure wakatime was actually installed on a remote vscode server.

I have a similar problem. Nothing in the log. It says "Unknown Error (1)"

Maybe the log is network related and it's suppressed, but you can see the log by turning on debug mode.
