Was fixed here: #3041 |
Hi, has this been pushed? I've requested re-index/crawl of the site and it appears to have been re-crawled days ago, but it's still not showing on google, and I've noticed some other sites using GitBook also have't updated. |
@pkdev08 It is working now for our docs: ![]() Do you mind sharing the URL of your documentation so that I can inspect the HTML? |
@SamyPesse Hi, it's https://docs.sxbot.io Iv'e requested the re-crawl several times and it shows it was re-crawled by google in search console but it hasn't updated on the google search. I checked several other sites using GitBook as well and there's isn't showing either. |
I think your fix may have only resolved your on domain because my website and the subdomain get crawled frequently, and it's been many days. It should've been fixed by now. Your website was fixed the same day you pushed the fix. Even other sites that have a lot of traffic using Gitbook haven't updated.. So not sure if something needs to be on your end. |
@SamyPesse I provided the url above. Please inspect and let me know. I believe its an issue with your image proxy being blocked for some reason. |
![]() Even the gitbook one broke now |
Bug description
Started a about a week or two ago, I noticed both of my documentation pages on two domains stopped showing my favicon in the google searches. I hadn't changed anything, and it's been working fine for years. I even reindexed on google search console in case it was an issue on my end, which it doesn't seem to be. I noticed even the
docs.gitbook.com
doesn't show the favicon in the google search. Not sure if there was a recent update/change that may have broken this. How to reproduce
