About the project

MLX is a machine learning and array frameworks primarily designed for Apple silicon. It has been active for two years in open source and 3+ years in general. We run into total size limits and have to delete old releases. We are also adding more back-end support so more wheels which will increase the size of future versions.

How large is each release?

500 MiB total:

• 5 Linux wheels 10MiB each
• 15 macOS wheels 30MiB each

How frequently do you make a release?

Approximately once every month.
