Python 3.12 really required?

What's the general area of your question: Yunohost packaging.

Question
We are working on a Yunohost package for Docs. Yunohost is based on Debian Bookworm (currently stable), which does provide only Python version in 3.11 or below.

We see that docs requires Python version 3.12 or above, which is too new for Debian.

Is there any reason for not supporting older versions of Python?

Actually, we are even in 3.13, for security purpose.
