Hello GitHub Security Advisory team,
The current advisory indicates that the affected versions begin from 4.0.0, but it omits earlier pre-release versions such as 4.0.0.Alpha1 through 4.0.0.CR9. However, according to the description provided by the CNA (MITRE), the vulnerability affects all versions before 4.1.44, which includes these earlier pre-releases. To support this observation, we have included PoCs demonstrating that the vulnerability can indeed be triggered in these version. 🔗 https://github.com/poc-effectiveness/PoCAdaptation/tree/main/Adapted/CVE-2019-20444
In addition, we have reported the exploitability of version 5.0.0.Alpha1 to MITRE, and a corresponding reference has already been added to the CVE entry. We are continuing to engage with the CNA to request a broader update to the CVE description.

We sincerely appreciate your attention to this submission.
Warm regards,
