  • Fixed the injected Usage Panel getting stuck on Loading... when the local bridge was stale or unavailable.
  • Added bridge timeout, HTTP fallback, and desktop backend-state fallback so route, token, cost, context, and Fast Route Switch data can recover through the active desktop backend.
  • Verified with targeted injection unit tests, generated injection JavaScript syntax check, stale-backend bridge simulation, local quick-settings API call, local route-resolution check, and packaged EXE smoke test. Full pytest was intentionally skipped because this environment has Codex-disruptive tests.
