Dr. Sims recently moved to Columbia from Washington State to pursue a career teaching biology. He is new to South Carolina and is having trouble orientating himself with the school and its locations. His old campus was planned in a very standardized manner, so UofSC's more historic and integrated layout is proving difficult to navigate. He would like to make a good impression on his students and colleagues by being timely, as he prides himself on being reliable. He is health conscious and short on time between his lectures and labs, so he would like to be able to find healthy places to eat in a pinch. He would also like to be able to plan his route to sports events so that he doesn't have to spend an extended period of time searching for parking. Finally, Dr. Sims enjoys discovering lesser-known areas around campus that are easily missed, but worth exploring.
