UNDERTALE, playable by ear. This is the first release of the NVDA accessibility mod — made and tested by a blind player who beat the entire game with it, including the final boss.

Install

  1. Download Undertale-NVDA-Access.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Close UNDERTALE, then run Install (Install.bat).
  3. It auto-finds your game, backs it up, and patches it in seconds. Run Uninstall anytime to revert.

Everything the installer says is spoken by NVDA.

Requirements

  • Windows · UNDERTALE on Steam, v1.08 (the installer checks and refuses safely if your version differs) · NVDA running while you play.

What's covered

All dialogue, menus, walk-by-ear navigation, battles, the FIGHT timing bar, attack-dodging (with an assist/can't-die mode), area puzzles (with a skip option for purely visual ones), shops, elevators, the Mettaton quiz, and the neutral-route final boss (Photoshop Flowey).

UNDERTALE is by Toby Fox. This is an unofficial fan project and includes no game files — it only patches the copy you already own.
