Description

This project aims to build a real-time chat application using Expo, React Native, Expo Router, and Chat GPT. The backend is built with Node.js and uses web sockets for real-time communication.

Installation

1. Clone this repository: git clone https://github.com/AegeanDave/Chat-app-sample.git

2. Run server cd server and do yarn install or npm install, then yarn start to run

   You need to create and fill out your own .env file.

3. Navigate to the project cd Chat-app-sample

4. Install the dependencies: yarn install or npm install

   You need to create and fill out your own .env file.

5. Run yarn start or npm start

*** For Xcode15 Beta, it is necessary to upgrade expo, react-native, and react-native-reanimated to ensure compatibility and smooth operation.
