Do you happen to know if the sigma multiplier is used anywhere else in the TypeScript? (Do I have to add that variable to whatever Java-bridge there is, or is it already being passed through)

That variable name does not exist but there is a variable somewhere that encompasses that idea - when your ellipses are plotted at a or 2 or 95% ... SIGMA_MULTIPLIER is a conceptual placeholder for that value.
