Describe the feature

It would be very practical to have the option to add 1-3 trailing customizable shortcuts to the search widget, so we can quickly launch certain activities. E.g.: Google's Music Search, Google Lens, Google Assistant, Play Store, etc.

Why would it be useful to add?

Some of these activities, such as the voice search for Google Assitant, Google Lens or the Music Search (Now Playing), are easy to trigger when you're using Google as your search provider. But they're lost when you switch to a different option.

Customizing these shortcuts would allow us to have the best of both worlds, retaining this functionality when switching away from Google search.

Maybe the leading icon could also be turned into a cutomizable shortcut (e.g.: to open our web browser).

Did the feature exist in Lawnchair v2? (Play Store version)

No

Example(s)

This feature is already offered by Nova Launcher, although my favourite implementation is the one from the Search Widget (Material You) app.

I think the screenshots below are self-explanatory:

This app currently allows you to set up to 3 customizable shortcuts. I personally find 3 to be a bit excessive, but it looks great with 2.

Let me know if you need any extra clarification or context!
