Role

It's annoying that I have to retype my name every time I launch each instance

Suggestion

Allow us to set a default name for offline mode

Benefit

I use it to do split screen

This suggestion is unique

  • I have searched the issue tracker and did not find an issue describing my suggestion, especially not one that has been rejected.

You may use the editor below to elaborate further.

Looks like this issue kinda fixed this...
#4609

But it's not saved per instance so we have to type it out each time we lunch a different instance.

How? when I click play offline it asks me for a name and defaults to the last used name out of all my instances

This requires a shortcut which means I have to have a instance and a shortcut
I want to set it for the instance

You can create more than one shortcut for the same instance. Create one shortcut for one username and one for the other username. Right??

they understand that, my comment was just showing a workaround. this is still a missing feature, hence why I didn't close this issue

Is there a way to set a username through command args?
it seems possible through a sh or bat shortcut
