[Wish] visualize cryo electron microscopy files

Try to be as detailed as possible. Why do you need it? What data does it use? What should the user experience?

I would like to implement a BioJS based support to visualize cryo electron microscopy files. These can either be 2d or 3d. For a start I would port an existing implementation for 2D into BioJS and then add the more complex 3D visualization.

Complexity (approx. estimate in dates)

2D visualization would not be too complex. 2 - 3 full time days. 3D is another issue, requires WebGL implementation. I have a prototype on localize.pytom.org -> tuturial.
