There are a whole category of "search over a set of posts or accounts". Some of these are easier, some harder. Searching over a set up a couple hundred accounts is probably doable, but lists and follows can be much larger than that, making things tricky.
search my follows: limits search to folks you follow. useful for recommendations, "local" conversation, "who is talking about". tricky for follower lists more than a couple thousand accounts
search in list: similar to above, but defined by a list, not follows
search likes: particularly tricky in the current architecture b/c search index doesn't have full social graph, and adding this would be hard
search in replies-to-account: would require a re-index, but otherwise pretty easy
search in replies-to-post: easy for top-level posts and direct replies; pretty hard for mid-level posts
search quote-posts of a post: on the fence about implementing this, from a social design / unintended-consequences standpoint (could make some harassment harder or more visible?). if we do this, would probably implement as a "enumerate all quoteposts" API call first, then add as a search feature
