Suggestion: change NPM registry search API

After noticing that my plugin hasn't found its way onto npmsearch.com yet, I looked at their website and GitHub repo, and it doesn't look actively maintained. Others have found missing packages as well, and various issues have been sitting unanswered for years.

Maybe it would be worth moving HPM to a different search API? https://npms.io is one possibility, it's certainly faster at indexing.
