Is this the right place to submit this?

  • This is not a security vulnerability or a crashing bug
  • This is not a question about how to use Istio

Bug Description

istiod doesn't have an option in the helm chart to provide a priorityClassName to the pod created when creating a Gateway.

I believe an option needs added in the gateway-injection-template.yaml here

As a side note, it looks like none of the other injection templates/deployments under the istiod/files folder have an option for priorityClassName either.
