unable to open VSTs in DAW (ableton 11) yet properly generated (m1 mac)

Ive spent the last few hours working on installing the AlmondOrgan VST that comes with the examples alongside the LIRA-8 VST. meeting seemingly all of the requirements and going through Terminal to make everything work and going through several iterations of generated plugins just to make sure I'm not missing a step; done both the automated script builds and manual generation. I have had the VST files pop up under MacOS' security wall when trying to "open" them and even after allowing them to be opened they still refuse to show up in a DAW, even when both in the Plugins>VST3 & AU folders and selected a desktop folder as a second source.

LIRA-8 is actually accessible on its own via PD but I'm completely stumped as to where the issue is when it comes to opening in Ableton 11. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running into problems on M1 as well. Had no problems on my intel Mac, but script generated plug-ins won't work, and manually generated plug-ins are allowed due to sandboxing. Having the problem in both Ableton Live and Reaper.
