Places that still use the old purple accent:

  • Left menu
  • Settings
  • Notifications screen
  • Your Network screen
  • Thread view has wrong background color in light mode, the See more text is still in purple.
  • New Post screen
  • Check Support and Report a Bug if they use purple or not (I didn't check it yet)

There are also a few places we might want to stick with purple. Check with @Chardot. A couple places I noticed are bullet points inside posts and the onboarding screens. context

Let's merge this effort with #1067 re: passing wcag color contrast AA and AAA compliance since they're so related... because there are issues with both the orange and grey for color contrast. Meeting WCAG color contrast ratio is the more important UX goal.
