As you can see, the edit surface is hidden.

Hi, thank you for reporting this issue.

As for now, have you any other frame recorded during which button becomes visible, s.t. that you can edit the surface appropriately?

Then, another work around would be to use Pupil Capture to create a fitting surface and copy the ~/pupil_capture_settings/surface_definitions_v01 file into your recording folder. Afterward, start Player.
