I can't select Local Machine and you can't use according to the application, you can only use source datastreams for scanning remotely. Remote scanning using plain XCCDF and OVAL files has not been implemented in SCAP Workbench yet. So I also can't set the address to localhost.

@robertgendler thank you for opening a ticket! Unfortunately, MacOSX probes have not been implemented in OpenSCAP yet. If you would like to contribute the OSX probes, that would be awesome!

I have been experiencing this issue also, has this been remediated?

Nothing online seems to suggest the update or fix for this issue. If it is, are you able to provide a link to show the resolve. Thanks.
