Integrations page crashes GUI #32447
Comments
What licence are you using? CE, Starter, Pro? As per the bug templates you need to test on the latest versions. That means a minimum of 6.6.7 and preferably 6.7.1or 6.8.x Rocketchat moves fast and issues are fixed all the time. Note there were quite substantial changes on licencing etc at 6.5 so yes 5.x might be fine where 6.5.x is not. Please check as I can't remember whether that affected integrations. |
Updated to 6.8.0, the issue still persists. Same error message in the browser console |
Forgot the license, we use CE. |
@reetp ping |
Please don't ping anyone. I don't work here! I just do community help. You are on CE - you need Pro or EE for paid support. Otherwise it is on a best effort basis. You said you used 5.x What upgrade path did you use? Straight to 6.6 or did you go through version steps? There were a lot of changes with 6.5 and additional limitations. How many integrations did you have? Did you test the upgrade first? |
If you ask questions you have to expect people to reply and expect a response in turn.
This is a really old installation that was upgraded many, many, many times. We started out in the pre 1.0 days (0.48 IIRC). I can't exactly reconstruct the upgrade path but I believe the transition from 5 to 6 was
Around 8-12 I'd guess.
Sure, but it's infeasible to test every single feature each update, that's what RC should be doing in an automated fashion... |
That's not how it works I'm afraid. It is the nature of open source. You are using CE. Support is on a best effort basis. If you want immediate support there are paid options available - there is a whole back-end system setup that handles that. Otherwise you need to hope that someone in the community may assist you. As I said above, there were a lot of changes at 6.5.x as to what is supported and what is not. You can read that in the change logs. Various limits were applied which you may or may not agree with, but that is a discussion to be had elsewhere. I need to find out if that applies to integrations.
It's unfeasible for Rocket.Chat to test your integrations as every one is bespoke to you. They do not have access to your code. The variations of clients code is almost infinite, and the onus is on your to ensure that your integrations work when you upgrade. You might want to try a test on the last know working version and test upgrades on each integration to eliminate which one is causing issues. We then might be able to see if it is actually an issue with Rocket.Chat If you can narrow down the issue and we can see there is a problem with Rocket, I may be able to get someone to take a look. But please don't "expect" anything and note that pings are likely to get you ignored rather than listened too. |
@ulope internal team was not able to reproduce the behavior mentioned in 6.9 (latest version). Highly recommend moving to it. |
Description:
On our local installation (currently on 6.6.1) opening the

We have quite a few integrations configured and we need to access this page.
It definitely still worked in version 5.x.
