Disable Dashboard Live Polling in production

Is there a way to disable Live Polling button in production??

If not, will it be a feature that is desired?

Someone from my team just "forgot" about this button and it was ON it production for about 5 hours and had spiked our response times 5x.

That's not good!

There isn't currently a method/configuration for disabling live_polling, but I'm not opposed to the idea. config.good_job.dashboard_live_poll_enabled = false or something like that seems doable.
