Development environment setup

Hi,

I am having some trouble setting up the development environment with gradle and IDEA IDE.
I checked out the latest code on master than ran: ./gradlew idea
but I get this error:

I tried running git clean -xdff then ./gradlew compileTestJava but I got the same error.

ENV: latest IDEA and java 15.0.2 2021-01-19

Any ideas?

Hello Hamza,

this looks like the gradle wrapper gradlew runs on a pre Java 10 version. To which JDK is your JAVA_HOME environment variable pointing to ?

Thanks for the tip, I forgot that I had openjdk-8 and wasn't pointing to a recent jdk.
Updated JAVA_HOME, the gradle build is now OK.
