One possible issue: when I first was using without s3, the file mount is for root, but apache uses the www-data user, so it couldn't write. (Solved by setting permissions on "_" directory in the upload mount) Is s3 using a "mount" in which case something similar could be happening, or is directus using the s3 access key directly? |

Ok... well, I go it working, by:
I am not sure which of these changes was most important (or both). If someone could post what permissions directus actually needs to use S3? Also some better way to switch storage adapters than complete reinstall would be nice (?). I don't see anything in the config mount -- should it write info there that then can be edited? (Now configuring from environment per docker instructions.) |

I'm having problems setting up S3 for a deployment inside EKS. I'm using the docker v8.2-apache image.
I have environment configured:
The given key is owned by a user with permissions:
I get the following error when I try to upload a file:
I tried both with and without the
uploads
mount attached, as the documentation doesn't seem to say anything about it when using s3.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
