Gator Group,established in 2009, is a high tech enterprise,which specialized in IoT field.Our main products is family Ecosystem like GPS kids watch,elderly watch,home service Robot and so on. We have professional engineers for R&D department in this field.Under the innovation,efforts,and unity from all our staff,our company has been increasingly expanded our business into Europe,Australia,America,Asia,total 60 foreign countries,Also we provided services for the well- known company globally like Leadership,Walmart,Tech data,Vodafone,etc,and our high-quality product and prime service have been acknowledged with reputation.

  • We are in IoT business since 2009. Gator Brilliant Technology invested by Gator Group Co.,LTD.

  • Gator has been focused on R&D IoT solution. Our team developed the strongest BTC miner in 2012 , we used the expandable module design in parallel working to ensure the efficiency of mining , the first machine adopted 4 modules for consumption 1200W power supply. We also created the first kids watch Caref in 2013 which was sold around 2000 walmart stores in USA .
  • How many have you sold?
  • Gator sold around 300,000 pieces kids watch all over the world.
  • What brought you to Helium etc?
  • Our team know Helium from technical forum, Helium IOT solution is a perfect project for future IoT field and want to join in this network .

Full hotspot is developed based on RockPi(see below pic), so can make it stable , we also have OTA firmware updates already to keep software up and security.

  • We can support customers through email and we have distributor channel that can support customer too. Customer also can leave message to us via website to feedback all information .

  • We have OTA server to support customer on firmware update. full hotspot comes with a 12 months warranty - hotspots are produced with a defect will be replaced within 12 months.

  • We are currently working with Avnet,CECport and WPG based in China.

  • How many radio modules/ concentrators can you procure?

  • we can produce 6k Lora concentrators per month based on three models of SX1302 per month in 2022.

Manufacturing Information (required)

  • Have you built and delivered radio hardware products before?
  • Yes, Gator focus on IOT field more than 10 years, we released 2G/3G/4G vehicle tracker and kids watch, elderly watch, pet tracker and bike tracker, sold more than 600,000 units more.
  • Have you built gateways before?
  • yes. We build wifi gateways based on MTk 7622 .
  • How many gateways did you make?
  • not too many

Budget & Capital (required)

  • we plan to start with few thousands production and then scale up according to customer demand, so cash flow is not issue at the begin based on revenue of existing products, if budget overruns we will consider debt financing and we have a good relationship with our local bank.

Risks & Challenges (required)

  • We discussed with Semtech, they will produce gateway chip 150k totally every month, it is a big challenges to produce hotspot if there are 10k or more quantity requirement per month.so need to place chip order few quarters in advance. delivery timelines is also a challenges because of chip shortage, so need to notice customers precise delivery date and inform customer a few weeks in advance if there is any delay.
