DEEP ZOOM SLICER¶ ↑

Deep Zoom Slicer slices images into several tiles and creates xml descriptor file. Sliced images are compatible for use with OpenZoom, Deep Zoom and Seadragon.

Usage¶ ↑

require 'deep_zoom'
DeepZoom.new('path/to/sample.jpg').slice!

Or define custom options:

file_options  = { :dir     => 'cropped',
                  :format  => 'png',
                  :quality => 80 }
slice_options = { :tile_size => 256,
                  :overlap   => 4 }

img_path = 'path/to/sample.jpg'

DeepZoom.new(img_path, file_options).slice!(slice_options)

Remove Deep Zoom created files:

DeepZoom.new(img_path, file_options).remove_files!
