It seems that the segment file is missing when the script is run:

restore_from_wal.sh_19.stderr

dd if=000000010000000000000001 'of=/tmp/test_output/test_wal_restore[release-pg15]/pgsql.restored/pg_wal/000000010000000000000001' bs=4845786 count=1 conv=notrunc
dd: failed to open '000000010000000000000001': No such file or directory

Separate from #2057 which should just be closed.
