P1001 when attempting to connect to database

Hi all,

when trying to connect to my MariaDB-Server using Prisma.IO I always get the following error message:

Environment variables loaded from .env
Prisma schema loaded from prisma\schema.prisma
Datasource "db": MySQL database "app_wk_event" at "192.168.101.65:3306"

Error: P1001: Can't reach database server at `192.168.101.65`:`3306`

I have no problem connecting to the server using MySQL from the command line or using other software such as DBeaver CE.

I've checked all URLs and other credentials and even changed the password to one that does not require %-encoding.

How to reproduce

Thank you for raising this question.

Do you have special characters in your password? If yes, you would need to percent encode the special characters in your password. Can you also add connect_timeout=300 to your URL to prevent the connection from timing out too early?

Hi,

thank you for your response. As stated, I have changed the password to something only alphanumeric to test if I had messed up the percent-encoding. I had tried adding connect_timeout=300 to the URL, that unfortunately did not solve the problem.
